Would be VERY interested in camelid healing! I have a pet alpaca (along with some others, but they ain't as special and will be sold which sounds a bit cold, but we can't keep 'em all). He's a very special boy, physically HUGE and very gentle. When we connect, we connect very well indeed. It's like he's talking to me somehow ...
I've heard about zen with horse, how riding horse can heal certain things and move stagnant energy. i've never learned it though. holistic healing is very popular. I always choose to go with anything but modern treatment, if it is available. but sometimes they are quite expensive.
I have llamas and they and alpacas are thought to hold the light on the planet( they originate in Peru) so I have always seen mine as a calming effect for the ranch. The chakra balancing is great for them and I have just put my hand out and projected Reiki to one when he was badly hurt and in shock and it pulled him right out of it.

Yes riding a horse is healing remember you are sitting right over their power center and to the native americans they are POWER that is their medicine!
Getting comfortable with a horse is a lesson in your inner self. Horses can size you up from yards away and they know every little subtile body movement you make and what you are thinking. I have one that when I go tot he barn he knows that I am going to halter him without even seeisng the halter> If you get a chance visit them and be around them. See my Piece on the Magick of the Horse...wwwhearttohearthorseranch.com all kinds of free stuff and adding more.
I will visit your site. maybe one day I will be able to ride a horse lol I've always wanted to, but to have them as pet it takes a lot of money and they need a big yard.
Hi WWS
I have always thought that of alpacas and have called them the most spiritually grounded animal. They are better for the environment than most stock animals, and their very presence is calming. Just watching them cushed or grazing is something which brings great calm I find. And as said, my pet Hercules, well he has a way of looking right into the depths of your soul. I think - unless in circumstances like you mentioned with your llama - they are the ones who bring the healing to us, as they do carry a light as you said. And I'd love to visit Peru & Chile to see where they originated from. Have to give up the smokes tho' ... think the Altiplano might just play havoc with the ole lungs ... :)
Yes you need to be able to afford horses and they do need room. Lots of horses are squeezed into tiny spaces and they simply get sick from it. My horses run on 20 acres and all 4 live together in a herd and are NOT put in stalls. they are in a huge 36x60 foot barn and can come and go as they please. Totally as close as they would be in the wild.
I recommend that you go adn just stand next to one and feel the energy from the horse to you.
Sounds like you really enjoy your animal. I believe that they are here as we are to hold the light and bring in the changes on the planet. They totally live in the force (Shamanically speaking) and are so sensitive to the Earth and her every movement. We as humans have lost that ...too much concrete I suspect. Enjoy him and sounds like he enjoys you!
thank you for reminding me how awesome animals really are. I want to check out your website. I hate seeing animals in cages all the time. I have a pet hamster that i let roam free for a little while everyday. Me and my son took her outside today so she could play in the grass and explore. She is very sweet and tame. She even makes little noises in her cage when she needs to be let out. Animals are very good for us.
